Is it really free to list equipment?
Yes. Machine Market is completely free for both buyers and sellers. There are no listing fees, no success fees, and no commissions. We believe Australian tradies, farmers, and operators deserve a fair go without hidden costs.
How do I create a listing?
Tap "List for Free" in the top navigation, sign in with your account, then fill in the details — title, category, condition, price, location, and photos. Your listing goes live immediately once submitted.
Can I list equipment for hire as well as sale?
Absolutely. When creating a listing you can choose to list it for sale, for hire, or both. Hire listings display a daily rate so renters know exactly what to expect.
How do I contact a seller?
Every listing has a "Message Seller" button. This opens a direct conversation through our built-in messaging system. You can ask questions, request more photos, or negotiate — all within Machine Market.
What areas does Machine Market cover?
Machine Market is available Australia-wide — every state and territory. Listings include suburb and state information so you can filter by location and find equipment near you.
How do I report a suspicious listing?
If something doesn't look right, use the report button on the listing page or contact us at support@machinemarket.com.au. We review every report and take action to keep the marketplace safe.
